Where do we even begin with this sweet girl? She’s one of those dogs you rescue that comes in scared and afraid, but then absolutely steals your heart within a day or two. So then you think to yourself: “how am I ever going to let you go?” and you try convincing your husband you need a 4th dog and he isn’t having it and has to keep reminding you that you can’t keep them all haha!
Anyway, enough about that, let’s talk about Flossie! Flossie came to us just three days after giving birth to ten tiny puppies. Her puppies have since found homes, but unfortunately Flossie is heartworm positive, so she is going through treatment. We have started her on her treatment, but she’s such an amazing dog, we’re hoping someone will step in and foster to adopt her and continue her treatment at the rescues expense. She is an absolute sweetheart and so smart. She loves other dogs, big or small, and she is great with adults and children. Flossie hasn’t been around cats with us, but we think she might do ok with them. She loves a good couch or bed to snuggle on and a big yard to play in. She enjoys playing in the kiddie pool on hot days too. She is sure to be your sidekick and she’s a dog you can take anywhere. She does great in the vehicle and on or off of the leash and will follow closely. Flossie will be spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and continue treatment through our rescue for heartworm.
