leigh
Leigh was born approximately April 29th, 2026, and if his mama Kurtis’ DNA test is any indication, he is probably also a carefully crafted combination of approximately 47 different things.
He was the biggest puppy in his litter, so naturally we call him our little brute. Is he actually a brute? Absolutely not. He’s under 20 pounds, but does he stomp around like he’s built like a linebacker? Absolutely.
Leigh has the most gorgeous brindle coat, the cutest little face wrinkles, and quite possibly the best overbite we’ve seen in a while. Add in his perfect sour-then-sweet personality and it’s pretty hard not to love him.
He is, however, a menace to society. He’s a puppy. He plays hard, occasionally gets a little too rowdy with the other dogs, makes questionable life choices, and his recall is currently more of a suggestion than a command. It’s getting better but if Leigh has something more important on his agenda, best of luck to you.
Underneath all that puppy chaos, though, he is truly the sweetest boy. He does great with other dogs and has done wonderful with kids. He is currently fostered with a 5 and 7-year-old and has met plenty of neighborhood kids too.
He does bark when strangers first show up, although we’re fairly convinced that’s because his mom starts it and Leigh thinks, “Well, I guess we’re yelling now.” Once the alarm system shuts down, he’s a sweet boy.
Leigh is working hard on potty training and is making progress. He’s also getting the hang of “kennel” and learning more every day.
He is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He has not been neutered yet because, to put it professionally, his balls have not received the memo that it’s time to drop.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous little brindle brute with face wrinkles, an elite overbite, a sweet heart, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting, Leigh is your guy.
