Shepherd mix, roughly 8 months old, neutered, vaccinated, chipped and dewormed.

Despite the conditions he came from, this guy has let go of his past and embraced his future. He settled into his foster in about 3 seconds and has been the easiest houseguest.

He is the most gentle dog, mega sweet and for being young isn’t super high energy.

He kennels easily at night or when his foster leaves and even naps in his kennel by choice sometimes, uses a dog door or whines when he wants out, can free feed with other dogs and plays respectfully with them too, ignores cats, loves people and rides well in a car. He had to be bathed multiple times at intake and sat for them beautifully.

His only mark on his record is getting into the litter box a few times but maybe he thinks he is helping

He loves being outside no matter the weather and just enjoying the day.

He is besties with his foster dog brother Luke, from Purrfect Pound Pals, a 6 month old all black possible Great Pyrenees mix, also fixed vaccinated and chipped, and a sponsor will cover one of the dog’s adoption fees if they are adopted together. The boys are the same energy level and really hit it off and spend all day hanging out together outside or on the couch chewing on bones.
